Roller Derby Art Hits Japan!

My artwork for sale at Design Festa 2009 in Tokyo, courtesy of Jeff Martin. His magnificent jewelry is pictured as well. Thanks Jeff!

Roller Derby "Rink Riot" (Revision)

Here is the revised version awaiting approval.

Rink Riot (concept sketch)

My idea for an upcoming Central Coast Roller Derby poster. The poster within a poster was an afterthought. I hand painted the header based on some retro lettering samples. It's part of their whole Rock-a-Bettie image, which I like to embellish.

Roller Derby "Summer Slamboree"

Formerly Spring Slaughter. It's almost finished! This design is quickly becoming one of my personal favorites.

Spring Slaughter

The poster I've always wanted to do. Heavy metal.

Inaugural Brawl

Ringing in a new era with the Inaugural Brawl. CCRD brings the pain.

This one didn't make the cut, but it's got the 70s 80s era campaign type styles.

November To Dismember

It's the last game of 2008. Will it be my last poster for CCRD? Show your support. Go to the game.

Also go to http://www.myspace.com/centralcoastrollerderby to tell them how much you want me to keep illustrating these awesome events. Visit www.emerydesignonline.com/illustration to see all the derby posters.

The initial concept: Kicking butt and looking good. Emphasis on the game.
Another sketch on paper before going back to the computer.

The Prescription for PUNISHMENT

Just finished this poster for the Central Coast Roller Derby team. It's my tribute to Pulp Fiction Cover art.

Check out the Bout, if you're in the area!
